Bubblegum at the Beach

This is my latest work, at least as I type this (2/7/06) and is another great example of my bubble gum art style (hence the title). No, I'm not talking about blowing bubbles on the boardwalk...but rather a bright pink haired cat-girl wearing...okay, barely wearing a black bikini. I had a lot of fun with this one. I was tempted to stop with just the cat-girl but decided it would be fun to make sure she'd be happy in the sun, so I gave her the essentials - sun tan lotion, a cooler full of milk (meow!) and an MP3/cell phone/gadget thingy.

As for the cat-girl herself, she's probably the hottest feline I've created in quite a while. I love how her face turned out, especially her blue eyes. I actually drew her 3 times to work out her pose/anatomy, especially her right hand. I hate drawing hands. The coloring was a lot of fun and turned out really well, especially her tan line. Meow!
